Throughout its history PJSC "Ukrsotsbank" that operates under the UniCredit Bank trade mark, one of the leaders among the largest systemically important banks of Ukraine, has been implementing programs of social responsibility in various fields.
Due to the Board’s decision a certain amount of profits directs annually to the sponsorship and patronage. The object of careful attention of the Bank are children, young people, veterans, education, health protection and partnership with UEFA.
SPORTS
Sport certainly well developed in Ukraine. Ukrainian athletes have made a huge contribution into creation of positive image of the state. And just in recent years the most high-profile victories in this field have been achieved.
PJSC "Ukrsotsbank" is a long-term partner of Hetman Cup - one of the best known and most respected in Ukraine and abroad showcase regattas. Bank sincerely supports the main idea of race, that is a fair competition for a prize in the competition, and follows this idea in its daily business activities.
Over the years, the regatta has been changed, new classes have been created and the new distance and measurement systems have been implemented, but the values have remain unchanged, which are the basis of each regatta year after year: Competence, Quality, Fairness are the basic components of successful regatta.
Ukrainian yachtsmen are highly trained and recognized in world sport. Due to sailing regatta of Hetman Cup the athletes may find themselves in Ukraine that is the most prestigious sailing regatta in the country, organized according to international standards.
Boris Tymonkin, the Chairman of PJSC “Ukrsotsbank”, who himself has repeatedly participated in the competition, during the closing ceremony said that Ukrsotsbank was planning to continue to support Ukrainian regatta after Vadym Hetman.
Devoting the race to the memory of Hetman, regatta organizers act for respect of human life and moral values in sport as well as in business.

PJSC "Ukrsotsbank", member of the international UniCredit Group, which becomes an official sponsor of UEFA Champions League, wholeheartedly supports our professionals and future winners of sports (football, chess players, yachtsmen, kickboxers, etc.).
This year in Kiev and Donetsk a unique event for all football fans and people in the country took place. For three days, from September 30 to October 2 in Kiev on Sofievskaya Square and from October 7 to October 9 in Donetsk on Lenina Square, UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour Exhibition located in the central squares of the cities, where visitors could see the legendary award, the trophy of the European football club competition - UEFA Champions League.
The opening ceremony was attended by honored international and national athletes, representatives of city administration, and officials from UEFA and UniCredit. During these three days, fans participated in lots of interesting events including: football competitions and master classes on the real football fields, prize lotteries, lots of souvenirs, multimedia effects, a collection of football trophies and much more.
PJSC “Ukrsotsbank” is official bank of UEFA EURO 2012
On July 20 20125 the UEFA announced PJSC “Ukrsotsbank”, a member of UniCredit, as the third national sponsor for UEFA EURO 2012™ on the occasion of a special ceremony in Kyiv.
Ukrsotsbank, one of Ukraine’s leading retail and investment banking companies, notably charges of all financial transactions and account handling related to UEFA EURO 2012 in Ukraine.
As the third national sponsor for UEFA EURO 2012™ in Ukraine, Ukrsotsbank benefits from a wide range of rights, such as the ability to run ticket promotions for its customers as well as its brand presence in official premises of the final tournament.
Commenting at the announcement of the agreement, UEFA Events S.A. ORPHANAGES’ SUPPORT
PJSC "Ukrsotsbank" acted as international partner of Ukrainian Fashion Week 2011 to support the charity project “My first occupation”. The Bank presented sewing equipment to 4 Ukrainian orphanages. During the press conference, Chairman of the Board of PJSC "Ukrsotsbank" Borys Tymonkin stated that the Bank would take care of these four children's homes:
- Orphanage of Krasnodon ;
- 1st-3rd grade secondary specialized boarding school of Novomyrhorod ;
- Orphanage of Myrohoshcha ;
- Orphanage of Mukachevo .
The Bank tries to meet all crucial needs of the children's homes and allocates funds for the purchase of medicines, clothing, necessities and repair of facilities.
UNIOLYMPIAD
Keeping step with current trends, UniCredit Bank concentrates its attention on creation and development of attractive Corporate HR Branding. One of the most effective tools on this way becomes UniOlympiad which allows to demonstrate potential of our employment and help young promising generation to learn more about banking sphere firsthand.
Not leaving behind an important mission of the Olympiad, we assist talented students in demonstration and development of their own capabilities. The last UniOlympiad in 2011 gathered 890 talented students from 53 universities of Ukraine who had a chance to compete for the victory, 15 finalists who passed the final tests in Head Office, met with Top managers and during the year 11 UniOlympiad participants were employed by our Bank.
ART AND CULTURE
The priority areas of charitable activities also include the culture. Board of PJSC "Ukrsotsbank" decided to provide charity care to the Arts centers of Ukraine – well-known theaters of the capital and regions. Such assistance has become a good tradition of the Bank.
Thus, for many years PJSC "Ukrsotsbank" has been cooperating with Russian Drama Theatre named after Lesya Ukrainka.
Today, the Russian Drama Theatre named after Lesya Ukrainka is one of the flagmen theater art of Ukraine. This is evidenced by the numerous reviews of spectators, media and opinions of professionals. Now the theater is on a high professional level that can be confirmed by regular sellout of performances in our theater. Theatre successfully represents its art during the tour both in Ukraine and abroad and is well known in the CIS, particularly in Russia, Israel, Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Canada, Latvia, Turkey, participated in international theater festivals in international theater projects - joint resolution performances with theaters of Canada and Germany.
Bank’s assistance in carrying out prestigious international festivals and competitions is equally important. PJSC "Ukrsotsbank" is a traditional partner of the annual International Competition of Young Pianists in the Memory of Vladimir Horowitz, the only music contest in Ukraine, which is part of the World Federation of International Music Competitions.
This music competition, that was commemorated to one of the greatest pianists of the twentieth century, Vladimir Horowitz, had been one of the central events of cultural life in Ukraine and is widely known abroad over 16 years.
This year over 80 young talents from 14 countries have demonstrated their skills. The winner of the contest is 13-year-old Cao Bala from China was congratulated by the First Deputy Head of PJSC “Ukrsotsbank”, General Manager of PJSC “Ukrsotsbank” Graziano Cameli. “PJSC “Ukrsotsbank" welcomes the opportunity to sponsor such a world famous music event and supports the young participants of the contest, many of which will undoubtedly become an ornament of their country in future "- said Mr. Cameli.
The contest, founded in 1995, not just honors the memory of a talented pianist, but is an excellent opportunity to identify talented young pianists and enables them to express themselves and contributes to their future professional growth. The competition has been attended by over 1,000 musicians from 32 countries in "Horowitz-Debut" category junior, middle and elder groups during 16 years.
Since 2004 Vladimir Horowitz Competition has been a part of the World Federation of International Music Competitions.
